There are two things that work together to encourage, comfort, and help a believer in Jesus. Do you know what they are? Paul helps us to see how we get to work together with the Holy Spirit in providing that encouragement.
Why do we recommend things to others? One big reason is because of our confidence in what we recommend. In the same way, we share the Gospel because our experience with Jesus has been wonderful for us, and we are confident that it will be for those with whom we share it.
Jesus does an amazing work in us. It’s a work that starts with salvation that abundantly flows in us, and continues with grace that flows abundantly through us! How do we respond to this incredible work of Jesus?
One of the characteristics of being a mom is sharing. Sharing your time, your energy, your love, even your meal with your family. We see through Lydia how this grace of sharing is one of the many graces that God gives to us.
Even in times when we’re physically separated from one another, how can we strengthen our bond as brothers and sisters, focus on following after Jesus together, and help one another to maintain our joy?
