We are beginning our study of 1 Corinthians. Today, we see the overarching theme throughout the letter: that as a body of believers in Jesus, we are to be built up together by seeing all of life through the lens of the Gospel.
Being a mom is a tough job. There are many expectations and pressures that get placed on her. There are times when being a mom is a heavy burden to bear. For every mom who bears this heavy burden, Jesus offers great peace and comfort.
The spiritual gift of leading is like the ability to steer a ship. Those with this gift are able to help the church stay focused on their primary mission, and they help the church fulfill the tasks needed to accomplish that mission.
